Located right in the heart of Bury town centre, Bury Market attracts both locals and those from further afield to come visit. If you are looking for fresh local produce, the Fish and Meat Hall has an excellent selection, and there are stalls selling high-quality fruit and veg, local cheeses and other produce throughout the market.

Perhaps best known for Bury Black Pudding, the market has long been recognised as the best place to buy it, with original, low-fat and vegetarian versions of the local delicacy available.

 

One visit to the market is never enough and  there is also so much to see and do in the town including; the award winning East Lancs Steam Railway, the Fusilier Museum, a wonderful art gallery, Burrs Country Park. For those that just love to shop there are even more shops in the neighbouring Mill Gate Shopping Centre and also in the Rock shopping centre, which is just a short walk away.
